After the Fire is Out program

• Support to fire victims after a fire is out via ARC (American Red Cross) partnership
• Provide support to victims of a catastrophic event, including assisting with funeral costs
• Send Las Vegas Valley children to Burn Camp
• Supplying burn victims with equipment needed to recover

Camp Beyond the Scars program

Since its inception in 1987, the Camp Beyond the Scars has made a major difference in the lives of more than 1,600 burned children. Activities focus on achieving and enhancing self-esteem, including efforts to create positive experiences and overcome negative ones. The camp program has proven to be an effective means to provide much needed counseling to child survivors of severe burn injuries.

Catastrophic Assistance program

• Victims of fire, injury and/or illness receive assistance from the FFSNBF.
• In 2007, 48 Las Vegas valley families received assistance.
