Our Mission Statement & Purposes

  • Provide assistance to burn victims and their families
  • Provide assistance to children at risk that are identified by local fire agencies
  • Assist in catastrophic events as a resource to fire agencies and the community
  • Further education and awareness of fire and life safety

 

Catastrophic Assistance Program

Victims of fire, injury and/or illness receive assistance from the FFSNBF. In 2007, 48 Las Vegas valley families received assistance.

After the Fire is Out program 

We partner with the American Red Cross to help residents of Southern Nevada who are victims of home fires.

Community Outreach program

Firefighters love to give back to the community. In 2007, the FFSNBF participated in many community events. Most notable was the "Fill the Fire Truck" Toy Drive. Hundreds of volunteers assisted with collecting 13,000 toys and gifts that were distributed to 10,000 Las Vegas children in need.

The FFSNBF is actively supporting the Lions UMC Burn Center

Back to School program

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department traffic officers team up with Walmart, the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation, and other Community partners to help Clark County students with school supplies.
