inception in
1987, the Camp
Beyond the Scars
has made a major
difference in
the lives of
more than 1,600
burned children.
Activities focus
on achieving and
enhancing
self-esteem,
including
efforts to
create positive
experiences and
overcome
negative ones.
The camp program
has proven to be
an effective
means to provide
much needed
counseling to
child survivors
of severe burn
injuries.
The Foundation offers assistance to
people, families, organizations, schools, and the community who
are the victims of fire or other catastrophic event
